Text misaligning (seemingly) randomly

Hi, I've been working on filling out an application form, using DocHub to enter text into the various boxes. However, as soon as I save the document it misaligns a bunch of the text, but not all of it. Often enough the first page or two will come out without error, but the further into the document you go the worse it gets.

I have found the errors become substantially more common and extreme if bold letters are used and if a return is entered in the text field.

Currently, I'm trying to fill out the boxes by adding spaces between each letter.

I have tried alternatively entering one text box and just entering a single letter per, and filling out the form that way, but that does not ease the issues any and is much more laborious.

Additionally, if I open up a previously saved dochub edit, the errors appear. If I click on a text box that has bugged out in some way, any spaces above 1 disappear and the text box becomes misaligned above where it should be.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks.

  • Same problem here for some weeks. Three things apparently happen :

    1. When saving text areas, line breaks are removed
    2. Once saved, there a misalignment that is created between objects, in my case text ares and box objects that I place to create a border  (by the way, text areas must have border property)
    3. "Phantom" objects : deleted objects are still present and visible once synchronized with Google Drive.

I use DocHub on the web, on Windows 11, in Chrome and Firefox, with Google Drive.

    Hope this help.
